Zahara Micheli — Founder of Z Lab

Zahara Micheli, a well-known figure in artistic circles, galleries and photographer communities, worked for nearly thirty years in photography alongside her husband Jean-Jacques Micheli at the JJ Micheli lab and at Atelier Mikemuka.

Zahara Micheli and her team combine their expertise and passion to offer you the finest in fine art photography printing, photo printing and collage. The studio is located at Rue de Tervaete in Etterbeek, in the heart of Brussels.

Jean-Jacques Micheli — Founder of MikeMuka

Jean-Jacques Micheli founded the JJ Micheli lab in 1982 and has worked alongside Belgian and international photographers and artists for more than forty years.

In 2016 he and Zahara set up the MikeMuka studio, which specialises in black-and-white prints made with carbon inks (Piezography). His principle has not changed: listen to the photographer, so the print keeps the sensibility of their work.
